Getting Started: First Hour
When you first start Capybara Go, the game guides you through a short tutorial. Follow it until you unlock the full habitat. Here's what to focus on first:
- Claim all tutorial rewards immediately — they give a great head start
- Upgrade your habitat level first before upgrading individual pets
- Redeem all working codes from our codes page to get extra gems and coins
- Don't spend gems on anything yet. Save them for your first premium pet pull.
Resource Management 101
Coins
Coins are your primary currency for basic upgrades. They come from AFK farming and completing missions.
- Spend most coins on habitat upgrades — they increase all your income permanently
- Only upgrade your main pet's level. Don't waste coins on low tier pets
- Always collect AFK rewards before logging off to reset the timer
Gems
Gems are the premium currency and the most valuable resource. Use them wisely.
- Best use: Save 1000 gems for a 10-pull on the premium pet banner
- Never spend gems on speed ups, chests or coins — terrible value
- Complete daily tasks every day for free gems
- Check achievements regularly, they give lots of hidden gems
7-Day Progression Plan
Day 1-2: Establish Base
- Complete tutorial and unlock all basic features
- Redeem all available codes
- Get Grass Capybara to level 20
- Upgrade habitat to level 5
- Join an active flock for extra bonuses
Day 3-4: Start Optimizing
- Save up for first 10-pull and try to get an A-tier pet
- Unlock second pet slot and add a support pet
- Start doing daily dungeon runs for evolution materials
- Focus on one skill tree and unlock the first big passive
Day 5-7: Mid Game Transition
- Have at least one A-tier pet fully leveled
- Unlock auto-collect feature
- Start participating in events for exclusive rewards
- Plan your build path for endgame farming
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Wasting gems early: The #1 mistake new players make. Gems are way more valuable saved for pets.
- Upgrading all pets: Focus on one main pet. Spreading resources makes you weak overall.
- Skipping daily tasks: They give consistent free rewards that add up massively over time.
- Ignoring AFK cap: AFK rewards stop accumulating after 8 hours. Log in at least twice a day.
- Evolving bad pets: Evolution materials are extremely rare. Only use them on S/A tier pets.
Daily To-Do Routine
Do these things every day for optimal progress:
- Collect AFK rewards
- Claim daily login bonus
- Complete all 3 daily missions
- Do your daily dungeon runs
- Check for new redeem codes
- Collect flock rewards if you're in one
